Is it known if these will cover the LCA bolts and tabs?

I think it's a possibility. Our trucks are narrower than say a 2rd gen in that area. BudBuilts cover the front cam adjuster bolts. These skids might also.

Not enough to have a build thread.

None at the moment. Trying to figure out if I want to build the tacoma more, or keep it as a daily and build my fj40.

The other set was going to be for my dad's 4runner, but he's not looking for any right now.

Would the design fit on the 3rd gen 4runner?

On very little to no data and zero confidence in my answer, I'm going to say yes. So you're in for a full set. Right?

If other skid companies have identical part numbers for the 1st gen tacoma/3rd gen 4runner, then there is a good chance.

    Good luck with the research

RCI’s skids for 1st gen tacos and 3rd gen 4Runner are sold as one in the same with the exception of the T-case skid. The 3rd gen runner has an additional crossmember behind the transfer case that the Tacoma’s don’t have. That’s the only difference I know of. It’s also why BudBuilt sells a crossmember for their skids, because there’s nowhere to mount the back half of a transfer case skid on a 1st gen Tacoma. Hope this helps.
