Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Through much gnashing of teeth I found the key in my email. Put it in PCMflash It said it updated successfully. Maybe now I can start my tune. Sorry Mat. This stuff sucks for me!

 

Ok Mat. Now that I have the key installed where do I find the files for 1.04. I downloaded them using flash manger.

Were do I find these files?

All defender stuff is off including realtime

 

Any chance of a 93 octane version of 1.04? We only get 93 in Florida.

I see the power map is coming but some additional power with 93 without sacrificing mpg would be nice

Haha. That guy. Ive been patiently waiting over 2 months for my tune to show up.

 

It's important that everyone understands that part of the keying process is done by a 3rd party and not always available on weekends


Also, important for everyone to know starting next week I will not be available on weekends until July

91 map is for 91+. 93 will work on the 91 map

 

This will be in the OP in a min:
Starting next week I will no longer be available on weekends until after July 10th.

From May 20 to June 3 I will have limited hours and will be available to reply to emails only.

From Next Week to July 10th I will not be available weekends, and will not be available by any normal hours in America. (will be on the other side of the planet).

That means that you will likely get a reply to your email the NEXT day or LATE NIGHT of when you send it. This does NOT mean I am ignoring you if you don't get a reply during standard business hours.

Check the first post. He said he’s going to tune for 93 in the next release.

 

He mentions a power map for 93, not the normal map.

Mat can probably get a bunch more power but at the expense of mileage right now, more so with 93, but I'm hoping for a 93 tune version of 1.04 (to keep *most* of the mileage)
