Just need to throw some wax on her and she’s ready to go. Might have to be sick on Wednesday and go surf

Thanks I’m stoked on it! Haven’t bought a new board in years. Credit goes to @Prayn4surf for helping me pick the right board. Even though he made me go back down yesterday to buy it cuz he told me the wrong size at first :p

Go get yourself a new board! It’s a great feeling, you deserve it

I want to turn my garage in to a shaping bay so bad! But I lack the knowledge and tools to shape a board

They sell kits right? I've always wanted to shape one too. Would be pretty awesome to be able to say you are surfing something you made

I’m sure you can surf it no matter what. It might not be the best thing ever though and may turn to a wall deco haha. I gotta get my buddy to teach me to shape. He’s been pumping out boards lately. Would be cool to really understand everything that goes in to shaping and board functions

For real. I'm sure the first few boards won't be great, but they'll be surfable. I was looking at the price of blanks and they're really not too bad, less than 100 for shortboards. Fin plugs are maybe 30 bucks, leash plug another 10. And then the cost of glassing, which I'm not too sure of but I can't imagine it's too much, especially if you buy in bulk.

If anyone's in San Clemente I highly recommend checking out album surfboards, a little pricey but the boards are incredible. My go-to board is a 5'6 UTF, a standard fish with glass ons, slightly slimmer than most retro fishes. Ill try to post a picture later

Love my album disc bonzer! His boards new are pretty pricey so not sure I’ll be getting one shaped any time soon but when funds allow it I wouldn’t hesitate! I would love a twin fin fish from him.

That's a sick board! Mine was a custom shape for someone else who didn't end up taking it, was made for someone about the same size as me soI jumped on the offer, was a reasonable price too.
