I am not sure.. How do I tell?

Need to get the trans temp plugged into my scangauge so I can monitor it

 

only way i know how to tell is the hanging rpm

 

oh, then i guess it is

 

next time it does it move the shifter to 4. if the rpms go up it was in 5th with the torque converter unlocked (unlocked is correct. ). if it stays the same then you know it wasnt shifting to 5th.

if you go a little faster and the rpms drop finally then that is the torque converter locking
