No. Nothing has to come off. That fog light bezel is held in with some tabs. Just grab a small Flat head and push in on the tabs and it comes right off. Here are the locations of the tabs

Whoops I meant next to the fog light bezel, part of the lower grill. The part you swapped out....

I have Barcelona Red to color match with Black inlay letters for the TRD. Looks great in my opinion. I’ve seen the opposite done as well. Just doesn’t standout as much. Depends on the look you are going for and if you care to color match. Haha

Oh my bad...I thought you were talking about the fog light Bezels. I never had to remove that. Did all of my measurements and I secured it to the top of that location. I left the center open for my LED Light Bar wires.

    Thanks, I'll certainly consider it.

My truck is actually black, so I'm going for something opposite of color-matched. The skid I have now is black and it just feels plain.

Personally, I love Keyless entry. The fob goes where ever my wallet goes. I'm tempted to try the Lexus credit card sized fob because of this.

But the real reason I like it is because my wife never loses the fob...it's always in her purse and she never leaves that thing behind! No more frantically searching for her lost keys!

Best thread on the BLHM is this one that MESO started:

No way in hell I can do this mod until my wife is away for the weekend. lol She supports a lot of what I do, but car parts in the oven is something I will never hear the end of. :crapstorm:

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
...but if she's like most women and ever has to find that fob inside her purse, well...

(we're just as bad with all the crap we carry in our pockets, of course)

It's pretty embarrassing when you drive your wife's car, drop her off at the front door of the grocery store. The key is in her purse, she runs inside because there's a thunderstorm going on, and you have to run into the store to find her. Ask me how I know.

How did you guys thoroughly clean the bed of the truck? I just got the bed mat and want the bed to shine first ;) I’m a mall crawler obviously...

I never put anything on my 2nd gen bed. It looked new with the exception of a scratch here or there after 13 years. If you put something on it, you're just going to have to keep applying it to make it look good.

Just curious, but why have a truck if you don’t use the bed?

I use it almost every day. What would make you think I don't?
