Just received a new grill from EBay, and trying to decide if I should swap my Pro Faux for it.. seems every Tacoma on the road these days has one.

I'd get that one if it hat the TSS radar mount and if the raptor lights were smoked white instead of amber.

The OEM grills are made in China.

    Don’t tell anyone.

What if I pay more for it. Will they make it in the U.S. then?

They may make it in the US from Chinese materials.

My experience with popular modifications to certain models and this grill swap being a perfect example is that while this seems like everyone has done it here on TW but in reality I have not seen a single other Tacoma around with this grill installed nor any actual Pros either. So while it may seem super common on the forums in reality it is not...just most people who modify vehicles and in car culture are almost certainly a member of a forum. So my recommendation is to install whichever one you prefer most!

I'm thinking about switching back to my stock SR grill someday, but not until lift kit, etc is done.
It's gotta look big and strong before I go back to the SR. Right now I look like I should be spraying rodent spray when I drive around.

    False.
The OEM grill is made in the USA.
It’s even stamped MADE IN USA.
