Good deal from Glock! Any sc vets who ain’t in law enforcement should take advantage. Blue label program is fantastic. Normally 40-50 percent off depending on the model. I got a 42 2 years ago half off when they first came out.

You should get the 20 this go around :D. Wish I could partake, but my local dealer gives me one hell of a deal even compared to his regular prices.

No, I used some braided steel and looped it through a hole I drilled on the locking mechanism. Then I fed the other end through another hole to the outside of the toolbox and attached a medium size washer so I can pull it to open the toolbox. C44700A8-DC6E-44D1-A54E-CA31B83F279E.jpg Looks like my drivers side hub/wheel bearings are shot! And all this time I though all that noise was my tires wearing.
Any of you replaced one? The hub bearing assembly? Looks pretty straight forward, just another PITA

More often than not unless the bearing has a lot of play, I mean a lot you won't really feel much if anything in the steering wheel. Most of the time the complaint is what he's complaining about which is excessive roaring noise.

Order the ones pre-assembled from one of the guys selling them on the for sale thread. They are simple and straight forward to replace. Me and @JimboAnz replaced @Jay W. at the last mod day in like 30 min. or something like that.

He is also 2wd which doesn't have the axle holding it together to keep from really coming apart like that. He's very lucky it happened where it did and didn't cause an accident or worse. I have seen FWD cars get so bad they seize and lock up the wheel. If it hadn't had an axle holding it together like a 4wd truck then it would of ended up like that.

Shit. I just started feeling that in mine. And the noise sounds like the truck won’t shift into a higher gear. I can feel it in the gas pedal too.

I'm irreplaceable.. but they did graciously help me out with a wheel bearing.:D

@slcsez2000 Just a heads up.. if you order from jerseybuilt, don't expect a prompt turnaround. That's all I'm saying.

Sometimes bearings will make the roaring noise and not have play. Go out on a road that doesn't have much traffic and turn the wheel from side to side allowing the vehicle to load one wheel then the other like doing the 60ft solemn. If the roaring increases from one side to the other then that's the side that is screwed up.

Oh shit no!!!!!! Lock the front wheel up=really bad day. Probably similar outcome!

PSA that also goes for anything like Ball joints, tie rods, bushings, etc. I know Tim just replaced his inner tie rods due to play. My ex-girlfriend got slammed into by someone who knew their balljoint was bad but didn't fix it and it failed and cause his vehicle to shoot across 2 lanes into her car.
