The normal Matte Dark Bronze has a black ring, and the ring on the other one is silver because it's machined.

I'm looking to eventually buy some Ray 10s, I'm torn on which color. Does anyone have photos of these wheels on a 2nd gen silver sky metallic? I'm leaning towards matte gray, I'm usually not a fan of black wheels

 

Not matte gray, but Matte Gunmetal with gloss black lip and black bead bolts.

I love these wheels still, but if I could, I'd still go for the matte dark bronze...but the lady said no.




A year and a half later, still beating the crap out of my Ray10s! (and thanks for Vin, I do have a matching spare )

This may be a dumb question, but will the SCS lugs for the Ray 10 fit on my stock spare?

 

From my experience; no. The SCS lugs are acorn seated and the stock lugs are mag seated. I just threw a bag of 6 stockers in under the rear seat of the truck. You could use them (SCS style on stock wheel) to get out of a pinch, but they’d be unsafe with any use beyound slow speed moving the truck to a safe location after fitting a stock spare.

Now I have a matching spare though, so...you could always find a scratch-n-dent SCS spare to throw under the truck and it’d please your OCD (if so afflicted).

 

Well thanks I guess I have been lucky since getting them. Not only did I not have lugs for the spare, but also forgot to throw in the wrench adapter. And I got into some lonesome places this summer! I will get some stock lugs asap!

 

Haha right on. Just throw the adapter and lugs in the same bag and you'll be set

Did you paint the bolts black yourself, or is that something SCS offered at some point?

Finally was able to get an order in on some Ray10's in dark gunmetal tonight for my 18OR in superwhite.

 

I’ve been going back and forth between the matte black and and the gunmetals. I’ve combed through page after page trying to find a good picture of a super white with matte gunmetal. Know of any you can send my way?
