Off topic but is the 2017 radio direct fit? Which radio surround did you have to use?

 

3rd Gen 6.1" is same but Entune Plus comes with Scout GPS; uses different mounting brackets. I had to get 2015 brackets and surround.

 

Nice so you went with the entune Plus with physical buttons not the slightly wider Premium radio with the touch buttons?

 

Yeah, the 7" doesn't fit

 

Can you make one for a 2009 head unit XM/6-CD ? My phone connects via Bluetooth but not Pandora or any other music....suggestions?

 

Hey OP I have just picked up a USB/aux port with harness from a Lexus ct200. Could you tell me what wires are what if I PM'd you pictures? I'm just wanting to be able to charge my phone using the port. I have a 2010 with the aux already.

Ok, so you have the AUX wiring but sounds like your AUX box might be shot

Super clean. I like how you used the 2012+ prerunner radio surround to ditch the now obsolete 4x4 dial switch.

You went the whole 9 yards retrofitting the radio!

Maybe this can help you guys out

I replaced the plain steering wheel with a leather wrapped one complete with audio and hands free controls, to complement my updated radio and speaker install.
During the install I had to swap the airbag to the new cover.

Thanks, yeah I went full retard once I made my mind up I wasn't going to let it go.

 

Wow.. No half assing here. I attempted something similar but used a newer yaris radio. All good except the dash fitting. I had to fabricate the bezel.

Since this is an 05 and I dont think they came with a speed sensor for the gps.. How did you get it to work? Mine lags a lot and ive heard its because im missing a speed sensor..
