    By some miracle some of the people hunting with us out here caught a bear and found my keys in a canyon today that I walked yesterday and must’ve dropped them.

    Nitrogen is more stable then air and alot of high end sports cars do it for that reason. Because nitrogen exibits less pressure and heat changes it also doesn’t seep through the rubber as fast so it takes longer for a tire to deflate.brace cars run nitrogen too, but you can have it put in any tires you want, most tire shops carry it

    That's cool then. PO said he cut the belt because it started squealing really badly, I've never thrown a belt on it to see but the condenser is missing the lower coils (they were hanging off so I ripped em off). I got lucky though with not having to take apart the dash, he had to do it when the heater core went bad and filled the passenger floorboard with coolant (that's why I have no carpet).

    That was extremely lucky. I was offroading in an abandon quarry one time with a friend in his minivan and my keys were in my lap and when I got out to check the trail ahead they fell out, fast forward a few hours I couldn't find my keys. Luckily we just started walking down the trail to look and found them.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I don't like that it doesn't specify what it comes with. The pic shows expansion valve, condenser, pag oil, receiver dryer, oring kit, and compressor. But it is missing lines and evaporator and pressure switches. The evaporator has been the culprit in both my trucks now.

    That was my exact thinking but they have a cheaper kit without the condenser pictured so maybe it has everything pictured. I think I'll message them and ask just because if it has everything pictured that's a pretty good deal

    I didn’t even look at it, just saw trailer and thought I’d try and save a truck.

    But it’s a shorty so.

    :notsure::popcorn:

    I think she is finally broken in . . . but sadly it occurred NOT breaking the speed limit.

    I also got it back from the body shop from my "idiot gal in the Caddy XTS door slam incident at Lowes" (see previous rant if you care) week before last but was too late to get decent pics. Will update tomorrow on that front.

    Don't you love it though? Seems everyone has these "anything less than 10 on our feedback customer satisfaction survey is unacceptable". So, they "forgot" to order the replacement SR5 badge even though they had it for a week (even kept it over the weekend) AND mainly for my peace of mind to insure a good paint match I asked to pay for a detail job out of pocket . . . which they forgot to do AND judging by how filthy the truck was when I picked it up, they actually left it outside overnight which they claimed they would not do. Does that smack of a 10 to you pokes? Me either. So, when the SR5 badge gets here, I now get a free detail ($175 value) and then . . . I'll give them a 10. I'm SUCH a BITCH . . . but I mean well!

    I saw my neighbor struggling to change the spark plugs on his 2000 Sienna. I’m so grateful for having a four cylinder after seeing how hard it is to do a simple plug job on that van’s traverse v6.

    He told me when he called the local dealership, the first thing the service advisor asked him after calling him back was “Are you sitting down?”

    They wanted $600 just in labor to replace all six spark plugs. And I can see why, you have to remove the entire intake plenum to get to the rear spark plugs. Even with it off it’s hard to access the plug wires.

    I literally read what you wrote twice to figure out the connection between your keys and the bear.

    So... A bear stole your keys and some people you were with hunted it down in this canyon you were in and caught it and got you keys back for you!

    This version sounds way cooler to me. :rofl:
