I TRIED to change the oil. But the horrible dealership, where I bought the 2017 sr5 4 cylinder certified preowned, must have welded the filter on. Finally resorted to a jaw type wrench which promptly created a leak in the filter itself.
    Ridiculous.
    Gonna try again tomorrow.
I do my own maintenance because I know it will be done right.

Walked out to our parking garage at work with a co-worker and looked at my truck and then his. He's got a white 16 limited.

After seeing my truck he's getting the bug. He ordered tailgate letters by the end of the night.

Even better is he was telling me about his driver mirror and how it was busted up. I walked up to it and laughed. Installing my own @mesojdm ultimate turn signals prepared me for this moment. I pushed off the top cover with my thumbs and reinstalled it and then did the same for the bottom section under the mirror.

Nice to be able to help him and get him excited about his truck.

Karma got me today. After bitching about my wifes 2016 Escape battery crapping at 2.8 years and 18000 miles my 2016 Taco battery crapped today at 2.3 years and 18475 miles. Cheap azz batteries. At least I got one with 725 cca instead of the factory 580 cca. No I did not dare go to the dealer. Not interested in another oem weak battery.

I like driving in my socks on long trips, so all the Weathertech type of floor mats were uncomfortable and as you mentioned a beech to clean and keep clean.
I have 3 sets of these, Aries.....in a Jeep Cherokee, and VW Jetta and my 2017 TRD OR.
Easy to clean, comfortable on my socked feet. And they look great, way better and more functional than the Weathertec styles etc.
Not to mention cheaper....just in price.

Moar Summer Shandy from Leinie's. Kegerator is for home use, and the bottles are for when I've got to supply the neighbor (aka: my beer distributor!) he knows how to take care of those who took care of him.

Just installed a Maglite 3D cell. Sorry I can’t remember the TW member who originally posted this install, but thank you! Very nice fit and only took about 5 minutes, if that, in the dark!3FC01438-9E35-4226-879A-BF55F6A3A2AC.jpg

    I've had my 2016 Tacoma SR 4x4 2.7L 5-spd for 1 month today and so far I've...
removed the air dam... installed a Curt receiver hitch... added Weathertech floor mats... Carrhart seat covers... cruise control... intermittent wiper controls... did the AC drain mod... and purchased some Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT's.

Now I'm going to cool my jets and just enjoy it.
