I don't have any down the side but I'd say it's maybe a 1cm outside of the fenders. If I remember I can grab a pic

If your tires sit outside your fenders AT ALL then you will have issues with your paint down the road. Over time it’s like sand blasting the side of your truck. Happened to my 03 around 120k

It was hard to see because of the mold release deformation, but they are indeed E rated as you say. It is an additional 3.5 kg per corner compared to C, but it is not going to make a significant difference on a 2180 kg truck.

I ran 275/70/16s for a while on a stock suspension. Only did a couple small trails and didnt’t rub. May experience some light rub if your going hard out there lol. Also selling this set of wheels and tires soon!

This depends on how often you change your oil. Bigger tires mean more frequent oil changes are needed. Depending on the size you may need to change the oil weekly . If you install KO2s you need to leave the drain plug out the interval is so short.

I'm getting the new grabber atx. I know I'll fit 265/65/18 but would prefer 265/70/18. Just having that extra sidewall would be nice

You will most definitely rub with 255/85 r16 on stock suspension as this tends to rub with a 2” OME lift on stock wheels

285/75/16 BFG KO2s w/ 2" top plate spacer in front and 1" block in the rear. Sway bar relocate.

No rubbing on daily road driving. I haven't taken it off roading and don't plan to. But I could imagine it would rub if you started really flexing the suspension.

My .02, mine is a asphalt princess so take this with a grain of salt and may not be the set up for your Tacomas use.
