Is she able to see well enough to drive safely? The issue with my wife is that she can’t see the hood...

my wife is 55 yrs old loves the new Tacoma. Yeah we would love to have adjustable seats it sucks not but she is 5 3 and has no issues and love it. You can buy an inch spacer for back of seats and that will raise her up a decent amount and it is only $20 and takes 2 minutes to install.

My wife is 5' 3" and she drives mine with no problems either. She just adjust the seat and mirrors. That said, she doesn't like to drive it, but when she does it's not an issue. She has said that she wishes she could see over the hood better and that's because she is used to her Honda Pilot that has a low and short hood.

My wife's 5'0 as well and uses a cushion.

She drives it just fine on or off road.

Yes. Parking garages, drive throughs, parallel parking, boat ramps... no issues.

Is she actually able to see the hood over the dashboard? I’m sure the hood scoop doesn’t help

yes, she can see well and has no problem driving the truck. She doesn't like the hood scoop it does limit her vision near the front end. In Canada in order to get the double cab long box you have to buy the tacoma sport. I need the long box so I had no choice. I would have preferred the offroad package but not available with the long box.

Get the front camera mod. I just ordered one and I am 6'2". Should be easier to park. I got the front and rear camera

My wife is 5'0" and the truck is her daily driver. Lifting made it harder for her to get in but she seems okay driving it.

Yeah some of my friends get in my truck that have longer torsos and their heads are with in inches of the head liner.......and I dont even have a sunroof. I cannot even imagine the crap head room in the sunroof models.

Fortunately the Off Road Long Bed is a thing down here in CO... the hood scoop still seems ridiculous to me since it isn’t even functional.

Is there really that much difference between models regarding head room?

Im 5'11' and have plenty of head room in the front but their is a few inchs less in the rear seat due to the sunroof.
