If you can find someone that has a set of chassis ears and knows how to use them to find vibes that will help out a lot. It may not pinpoint the exact cause but narrow it down to an area. Kind of like a code in the computer doesn't tell you exactly what's wrong but the system that there is a fault in. I could probably list 100 things off the top of my head that is causing your symptoms for vibrations. Sometimes even for the best mechanic it can be a crap shoot or several compounding issues that you wouldn't feel just one but because they all compound on one another you have the vibrations.

Well it's fixed now and now you have something to know what to look/feel for in case it reoccurs.

yep. the only thing I can think of, maybe the pinion got loose? IDK if this is even a thing. its got 2 bearings that keep it centered, IDK

There is Pinion preload which is essentially how hard it is to turn the pinion by itself measured in in.lbs. That could have changed but it's one of those things that's a stretch. Preload is what puts tension on the bearings like old school brakes where you had to pack the wheel bearings and then tighten the nut on the spindle. Also a bearing could of gone bad and caused some play making the gear contact not ideal. Like all things it could of been a crap shoot of what caused the vibrations before the failure.

I think everyone has their own taste in women but I don't see objectifying your wife or kids for social media. Kinda sleezy imo

Audi update: we came to a financial agreement and they are overnighting BofA a check to satisfy the loan and overnighting myself one as well. Once done I am dropping the car off at Audi here for them to send a transport to pick it up. Then it’s Tacoma shopping time.

I just got a call from Discovery Insurance for the lady who rear ended my Camry last week. They can’t get ahold of their insured so it could be three weeks before I get a definitive answer.

Driving around with a duct taped bumper like a hillbilly:
