I picked up a solid carrier bearing from them in their Corona location. They do some pretty nice stuff. Stubby Bob from Roadkill got a ds from them :)

Looks like a recipe for a broken/bent spindle/hardware. If your uniball is maxed out at that point and the limt straps are still that loose you are asking for trouble.

I like the uniball bolt to be about centered, maybe slightly angled towards the back of the uniball cup if at all. If it’s angled too much you limit your down travel and you’re basically going to have to strap it at ride height. You’ll have a lot of uptravel but downtravel won’t be good. Centered gives you good droop and compression. And with the limiting straps being adjusted to the point before binding and before maxing out the uniball angle. I always go pretty conservative with limiting travel with straps.

Also if your coilovers are new they will settle a bit so you might see it center a little more but I’m not sure how much it’ll sag

O.k, your uniball cups don’t look as weird from this angle but I hope your coils do settle a ton or you are going to be riding with hardly any down travel. Did you get an alignment yet ?

are the upper arms identical side to side? the arms should be side specific and the uniball cup angled to match the caster and angle near ride height; like others have said the uniball should be almost flat at ride height. this looks like its already maxed out on droop?

Yeah hope that pic isn’t at ride height haha

Luckily it’s just some adjustments that need to be made nothing major

yeah but your down travel is probably 2'' if that.

You have too much lift. Need a lower spring rate. Looks like your running 18'' coils so your rate should be 600lb max if you have a lot of front end weight. If not, then 550.

Looks like that strap is loose. And for others ,the arms are right per say, you always put the uniball clip on the bottom. So technically they want them this way. But also its angle is off.

Hey what do all you 4 link guys do for the frame reinforcement? Pics? Link to your favorite products or shit you wish you had used? I know once you cut out the tire carrier for the fuel cell you have to reinforce because things get flimsy and I know that because we have an open C channel frame that the frame risk bending if you don’t box it, I was debating also cutting out the brace under the cab and replacing it with tube brace like cam burg sells for the ranger

    Thoughts? Concerns?

Truck is gonna be torn down for about two months so I’m trying to do this once and not be doing more crap later wishing I had done it initially

EDIT: I did ask this before but the response was make your frame look like a f250 super duty and I looked at pictures of that trucks frame and I’d really like more realistic suggestions hahaha

Just box as much of the frame as possible. Gusset and plate in everything, especially near link mounts. And replace any cross bracing you remove with tubing and it should be fine.

Your work looks super clean but ...that does not look like you have enough separation between your upper and lower links ? From what I learned doing mine if you have 33" tires you want around 8.25" vertical separation between your uppers and lowers at the axle, 35" tires you want 8.75" = the forward mounts separation should then be 50% of that = 4 1/8" - 4 3/8" vertical sep at the forward mounts. From your photo it looks like you only have about 2" ?

Edit - the length of your uppers vs lowers seems insufficient too ?
