I got called to troubleshoot a site in Idaho. Only the Tacoma made it up here, the other team had to get a Polaris ATV and leave their trucks at the foot of the mountain.







Now, after a few days I accumulated 2,000 miles.

 

that looks great! How long did it take you to put on?

 

Do you not have to replace your UCA if you replace your spindles? What spindles are those?

 

I think I've been there! Went on a family vacation 4 years ago to Yellowstone National Park and we stayed at a Cabin in Idaho. One of the days we were there we rented RZR's and mobbed a bunch a trails and up a mountain that looks exactly like this one with a radio tower and all of that! Same looking view and everything. That was a great trip!

Been seeing this sticker a lot on this thread and had to have it...

 

Spindle lifts do not alter the suspension geometry, absolutely no other hardware needs to be replaced (other than brake lines) and nothing is effected by it. About the only benefit PreRunners have over 4wd is such an easy lift lol (I have a lifted PreRunner )

It's opposite from dog years, you divide by seven rather than multiply. LoL

I recycled the old tweeters and used them as the housing for the new tweeters I put in.

 

Replaced my wheel bearing and spindle seal this morning. All in all it was pretty straightforward! Took about 2.5 hours start to finish, including getting truck in the air and cleaning up. The play in my old one was so bad I could wiggle it around even without the tire on.

Clutch master cylinder? I replaced one of those on my 91' pickup a few years back. Install was straight forward, but just need to know how to bleed the line. I did some YouTube searches and figured it out. I wouldn't think there's any Tacoma specific procedures for this.

 

If you're changing the size of the spindle you're changing the geometry.
