Getting componants ready for an onboard water system. Found that this RV water hatch that fits close to perfect in the small storage hatch next to the invertor. Looks like the ideal setup for a large fill, hose fill and breather for the water tank and pump I’m putting in.

Agreed. I’m very well aware of the glare caused for oncoming traffic. I can’t remember the last time I used the fogs in traffic. Mainly off road, or Specific use

Installed a Prinsu rack tonight and love the look it adds to the cab...just needs some goodies to carry & a 40" bar to top it off! Also scored a tyger tonneau cover for cheap off CL.

Took the truck on an adventure this past wknd and surprised how awesome the all-black decal looks when the truck gets dirty. Stealth mode when clean, represent while in use.

2 inch wheeler's add a leaf done. Much easier than changing the whole leaf spring set out. Got my stock rake back and no longer riding on the overload springs. Much nicer ride with the Flippac on the back.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Today.

Spent some time tweaking the rear window on the shell to get it to latch/seal a little better. 100% happy with how it closes and sits now. Im almost done with all the little tweaks/modifications/repairs that need done to my new to me used Leer shell to make it what I want it to be.

Drilled out/removed/replaced the broken skidplate bolt from the other day's front diff fluid change. Replaced all the hardware with stainless to avoid this in the future.

Also started kicking around the idea of building some sort of simple DIY bed slide since the bed is now virtually waterproof.

    Something similar to this -

    IMAG0430_zps2146b7ec_3de4f3de2e1ecd90cffd06b687eebee7f07f1ba6.jpg

Just plywood, 1x2, and some carpet. I want it to be as low profile as possible. Ill probably pick up a sheet of plywood tomorrow and start messing with it.

Very interested in seeing how this turns out.

Well, after a little while, I finally got the wheels fitted and paired with spidertrax spacers!
After some offset computation between the stock wheels and these I thought I would need a CMC on top of trimming a lot of fender/liner. Swapped out the two wheels in the rear first so that I could test fit them in the front and see what I needed to trim. Surprisingly, they clear the cab mount enough for daily driving!
Will definitely need a lift and CMC in the near future before I go off road again, but hey!

Yes, it was easy to fix. No write up due to just following the factory repair manual. Bleeding was the only question, but gravity bleed worked ok for me. No more brake fluid spraying all over my left foot... :)

I have had it done for a few months now, no problems at all.

I did it to fit my 255/80/17 full size spare in the stock location.
