Some people just unbolted and put a couple washers then rebooted for lift

I'm right there with ya'! It'd have to be a new complete lower rail system, though. There's some stupid strong forces created during an accident & one of the last things you want is your seat breaking away from the floor.

Bumper, Winch, 315s, Sliders, OME HD lift, Custom rear swingout, roof rack, drawers, way too much to list.
I got one of those memory foam office chair cushions. It's more comfortable and raises me up a couple inches.

I would not go higher than 1” and definitely do not stack spacers. This raises the rear of the seat only which makes it a more truck like seating position vs the reclined car like position. I’m 6’0” and find 1” ideal. It also helps give a more top down view over the hood for off road. Keep in mind 1” up equates to 1” loss in headroom.

The taller rear mount certainly affects the strength of the rear seat mounts only. The front remain unchanged. I had this mod in my heavily armored wrangler and was involved in a head on collision with a warn plate bumper, warn 1/4” mounting plate stacked on the plate bumper and a winch, where the wranglers frame was bent. Seats didn’t budge.

I run it in my Tacoma in both front seats.

Lower=better! Then maybe the rear view wouldn't be in the way. My wife's 4runner has a moon roof and I bounce my head off that bitch all the time. Moon roof not her....

Well, assuming no moon roof, gotta do the mirror riser kit to match the seat riser kit.

Yeah, no moons in my taco. I know a glass guy, gonna see what he says about just raising the whole bracket on the windshield. Just picked this truck up last month and working out the bugs.

Haha, he's just trying to live his best life.

OP- I did this on my old 4Runner (raised the back) and it made a huge difference in how it felt to sit in the seat. Much more comfortable. I found some piece of hardware at Home Depot that worked really well.

    Looked like this, kinda.

I would caution on using this type of hardware - a severe accident may cause these piggy-back threads to break, and allow the seat to become detached while the vehicle comes to a stop. Not only would the person in the seat sustain severe injury, you would also absolve Toyota from all liability since there is an unapproved fastener holding the seat in place. Its the same type of reasoning applied on why I never added an ABS kill switch. Anything safety related - just leave it alone.
