Was thinking of doing some preventative maintenance and changing the knock sensor on the Taco while I had it apart to install meth injection. Maybe I'll actually check it out before replacing it, thing is $193 from CamelBack can't imagine how a little piezo electric microphone is that expensive but damn haha.

Why would you make a website with a name like that.

    Is it a repurposed pornsite?

Conversely, please take that thing resembling a truck to the rust belt to die a slow painful death.

I measured my trans tunnel last week while driving through sin city and was shocked at how hot it was. I can't remember the exact number now, but 150 sounds familiar. Makes my bee.. I mean juice nice and warm sitting in the cup holder.

The Door Ding from Hell . . . has been repaired, well except for the missing SR5 badge and minus the detail they were supposed to do the rest of the truck and the truck was filthy when I picked it up and had been sitting outside the entire time and [drum roll please] was driven almost 50 miles while they had it. I'm just glad my $1000 sound system was still there. It was sitting out against the street unlocked when I got there to pick it up. To anyone interested, you could lift the Kenwood amps and compact subs from under my seats in, I'm guessing, about 15-20 secs . . . when it is sitting unlocked backed up to a busy street that is.

The repair seems adequate but I'm waffling on the 10 customer satisfaction survey response being held hostage in lieu of getting the SR5 badge and the detail job completed. Thinking maybe I'll just go pick up the SR5 badge, put it on myself, detail it myself [as usual], and give them a 3. Too generous?

Yep, ИH-18 tubes fresh from Ukraine. I think it’s stamped CCCP/USSR on the back. I assembled the PCB from a kit myself. Ordered it from a guy in the UK. So much soldering...

Can’t believe how expensive those tubes are. I had one burn out and it was like $80 for a used replacement. They only were used mainly in scientific and medical equipment before LCD’s came around.

You know I never noticed how hot it can get. That being said I’ve never had the need to feel how hot the transmission tunnel floor pan is. Lol.

Part of me wants to install a tranny cooler, but I don’t know.

Anyone know about getting a transmission temperature readout on a Scangauge on pre-2001 trucks? I heard the sensor changed sometime during that model revision. I programmed the ATF temp sensor but it was telling me it was -39.8 degrees Fahrenheit, which made no sense.
