61D0CD46-3547-47BD-ADFD-01D06E83B133.jpg Just got a set of these SCS and I was wondering if I can temporarily install them with a 285/70/17 stock suspension until my lift is shipped and installed. I should have it done in the next few weeks but was curious if I stayed on street only would they still rub all over with just basic driving? I can’t have these collecting dust in my garage it’s such a shame lol

They're gonna rub, maybe even with a lift. Without one though will require some trimming, which depending on how you look at it might be ok. If you're going to off road and stuff the tires you'll need to trim anyway. At least at stock height you'll already have a good bit of that trimming done.

Are you guys ordering new tps? Should I order them from Toyota or will a tire shop carry them?

How much you think a tire shop will give me for my tires? Only 900 miles on them. I’ll call them tomorrow but curious what people are getting for credit with their stockies..

I’d be patient dude because you’re going to create more heartache for yourself by not doing so. Plus, it’s quick and easy when you’re already at the shop getting the lift, the car is already lifted and you don’t need to make 2 trips. I say you waited this long, what’s a little bit more until everything is set? Plus you’re going to need an alignment after the lift, why balance and align twice?

You’ll get more selling them yourself on Craigslist as suggested above. A used tire shop still needs to factor in thier profit margin, so you’re not getting everything you should get value wise. Why do I get the sense that your excitement is blinding your patience here lol. Anyways congrats on the wheels!

True... ok should I wait to get the tires then or should I mount the tires to the rims and balance them and keep them cozy till my lift is installed? I’m bored at work... swing shift. Almost off lol

How many times have you been scammed on Craigslist dude? It’s really not as bad as you make it seem, and do you have data to prove this 2 for every 8 thing? Lol...cmon man...

Haha bro, seriously hahaha I had two people text me saying they wanted to buy my other truck.. said they were going to call from a computer phone and when it rings answer and press 37.. apparently it grants them access to use your number for google voice. Ya my dumb ass pressed 37 thinking he was at work. Who knows what my number is doing on the dark web right now jk.. no for real tho. I was so ready to sell my truck I believed this dude and then was like... wtf did I do that for? Another person tried the same thing. Then I get the typical money order thing.. send you more and just send him the balance in cash lol.. I fell for the 37, but that’s it! Haha I was like you dumb ass don’t press 37 again. Any other number is fine hahaha

Ok fair enough, you have provided the scientific data I needed my friend. However, that is some really bad luck my dude.
