My first Taco and loving her every day I ride her

Run my own bushiness in manufacturing and my last vehicle did alot of the heavy lifting for the company but these days couriers do most of that work. My 05 Dodge Ram 3500 long box that I built from stock was outdated and required more and more parts replacement maintenance

The power and powertrain will be missed also its load capabilities but my 3rd gen is an open book and the chapter is yet to be written 20180304_161836.jpg 20180304_162015.jpg

    Third Gen Ram
SLT Black double cab long box, custom headache rack
5.9 HO Cummins with 208,000 km, owner since 2005
Polished Stainless steel High Tech Tubo 62/65/13SS, AFE intake, SS Magnaflow exhaust
Autometer gauge pod, Smarty Sr, MTX under rear seat sub box, 2 linear amps, MB quarts speakers
Billet trans, TCS input & output shafts,TCS triple disc torque converter, Dunrite valebody,
5000km on BFG KO2 with powder coated H2 rims, 4in lift with Bilstein shocks
    8000km on complete steering upgrades
Clean status, straight body no dings or rust, well maintained and drives great

Saved the add before I sold her, got 10G's more than the stealership wanted to give me on a trade for my 2017 DCSB OR :crapstorm:

    Show me your last ride:thumbsup:
PS will have to sell the 28ft boat on a triple axle trailer, weighing 13k that in no way my Taco can pull......lol

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4

Stock and clean rustless 2002 DCSB OR SR5 TRD - shown here with about 255k original miles on it. I sold it at 265k miles 1 year ago, couldnt bare to watch it struggle towing our new travel trailer or to drive it to the ground. Plus was getting worried about it having any issues in the desolate places we go solo to. Replaced with a 2017 DCSB OR too. I loved driving this 1st Gen, and now the 3rd Gen too.

Me previous ride: 2012 Tacoma that I had fairly built out. Engine issues at 85k caused me go get rid of it. Picked up a 2017 Tacoma and have no regrets.

Drunk driver on the highway caused a 3 car pile up.

Initiator walked away with zero legal consequences. No blood alcohol tests were done, no witness statements were included in the police report, and he was not on the insurance of the vehicle.

    Mostly stuff I built.
Mine was my 2001 Cummins Dually it was a great truck but I quit running hot shot loads so I didn’t have a use for it anymore. I was going to build it out for remote travel but after some thought and soul searching I decided to go with a new Tacoma. There are days when I miss tire smoke and diesel smoke on tap but I can live without it. Picture is the day I delivered of my Supra to its new owner.7648C030-CEE4-48BD-8971-C7ED2C408790.jpg

Trucks are like women, it’s best to only keep them around for about two years...

    (Hahahahaha)

Not really, but they’re just as expensive.
