Richloam WMA Info & Meet Thread

I'm definitely planning on it, sounds like a good time!

Thanks, I moved out here just for my job, cuz other than that Webster doesn't have too much going for it... So I'm always looking for something to do around here

 

I like the restaurants they have there. I go out to richloam probably the most out of everybody here.

 

Yeah they are pretty good, and it had been a month or two since i had been out there (just replaced a front drive shaft and needle bearing) but i was out there yesterday and man have some of the road conditions changed. Especially the back section of the road from the fish hatchery entrance going to the crossroads.

 

They just graded those roads about three months ago.

 

I'm guessing because of all the rain we had recently and over the weekend but there is one section of that road that was completely washed out and had stream flowing through it at a pretty good pace. Now I kinda wish I had a picture of that haha.

 

Sounds like richloam. I probably won't be going for a little bit. Trying to get in a few more boat days before it freezes me out.

So, I'm thinking June sometime for a Richloam expedition. What works for y'all?

 

The weekend of June 16-17 is the only weekend I'll be in Florida.

 

I prefer Saturdays for wheeling. That way if it goes wrong you got a full day to fix, drag or tow it home.

 

K, that's a vote for Saturday June 16th. Anyone have any issues with that? I know Todd tends to work Saturdays but can occasionally get one off. He's talented that way...a Saturday I mean.

 

I'll have to play it by ear when the time comes up... Might be fishing instead

 

Now I need to get motivated and fix my CB. I broke my mount and pulled the coax out of the plug taking my Kayak of the roof of the runner. Not my finest moment for sure.

I think there's still a CB shop up in Hudson, have to run up there this weekend.

 

And that is why you hook your strap up BEFORE you get stuck in muck.

I'd be down for Richloam, Saturdays would be a good day for me.

I am wanting to (time and funds permitting) go to the Yotamafia meet in Atlanta June 8-10 if I can so I want to keep that open but otherwise a weekend in June should be good.

Looking like the 16th for Richloam anyways.

Anyone else planning on heading up to the YM Atlanta meet?

 

I texted @Sholden223 . He's down to be our trail guide.

 

I'll be in Atlanta on the 9th, but only for a few hours between my flight from Allentown and my flight to Melbourne.

 

So...does anyone have a preference for meeting time? I tend to stick with 0900, but I'm open to adjustments.
