We noticed the truck drives softer as in a little weight on the leaf springs made it a more comfortable ride.

Oh wow, definitely not the comment I expected. I guess I expected the truck to feel... kind of unstable? During a turn on the highway.

No, it isn't really that much heavier than the stock bumper. The stock hitch is actually quite heavy. I think when we weighed it it was around 65 lbs. Our rear bumper weighs 105 and the swing out is 60 lbs. So adding 100ish pounds to the back end of the truck isn't going to effect anything.

Ah!! Thanks I really appreciate it! It was honestly the main thing keeping me from buying one. Looks like I’ll be spending more money again lol.

I haven’t noticed a difference, but I have a lot of extra weight on my truck as it is.

So now that @Mobtown Offroad has convinced me to get a swing out rear bumper, are there any with a swing out that support backup sensors? Or would I be able to drill the holes and it stil work?

@Mobtown Offroad do you all have anything developed that would allow relocating the backup camera for your swing-out bumpers?

The swing out tire carriers come with bracketry to relocate your tailgate camera, standard.

Interesting, I got the Fab Fours premium as well, but it seems to be a different model? I think the difference is the backup sensors... I still need to adjust it to sit level/even

I'm glad I saw this before loosening the factory wires!

Yes, the one with BU sensors is a little different. Recovery points look better on yours.

I tried loosening the wires but just couldn't stand what it looked like and what they were rubbing on after trying to get enough slack. I did get it hooked back up but it was like a guitar string.

Nice, I have the same Fab Fours, it's a monster of a bumper. Can't beat the price for powder coated and delivered and in stock.

Anyone looking to buy this you need the factory hitch which integrates with the bumper.

Mobtown makes one similar and the hitch hidden behind the license plate and don't need the factory hitch.
