Morning all. Should be a fun day at work. We have a retired Vice Admiral visiting/speaking at a meeting so we all have to be on our best behavior.

Still drinking coffee at the house (telework). Formulating a short term plan at work till the dumptruck is fixed. I'm thinking I'll pull off the material recovery, bring the loader back to the yard and get into some road maintenance. There's always road to clean up and I need to start getting ready for the Memorial Day weekend.

Lol The Super Chicken just looked at the chief and at the guy and went on with his brief . We got dismissed except for the phone guy lol the door was not fully closed before the Chief went ballistic . Lol Didn't and don't know the guy so never found out what happened after the ass chewing though the way the chief started I am not sure the guy had an ass left lol

Morning, more rain today :(. This time tomorrow we (Dad Stepmom and myself) should be way south. I am pulling Dad's pontoon with his F150 5.4. Plenty of power, don't even know you are towing on the Va hills. Gotta watch my speed. 81S to 66E to 17S, short run on 95S back to 17S all the way into Essex county. Amanda and my Son are driving Blue down Friday morning. Even with the rain it will be a good couple of days with family!

Was on a video tele conference a while back (no clearance required) and the COL (maybe a Col) running the meeting was sitting predominately in the middle of the table. About half way through his phone goes off. Funny thing was his ring tone was the sound of a moo’ing cow. Took a moment for all to figure out what was going on, after which no one could hold back and cracked up. Doubt he ever lived that one down.
