What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I have had it done for a few months now, no problems at all.

I did it to fit my 255/80/17 full size spare in the stock location.

 

Oh my. I have a rag on the floor now soaking up the fluid. Any bidders?

 

45 minutes the first time. Ended up redoing it to get it tighter. Used 20# black braided fishing line. Took 20 minutes. Using gloves helped a lot as well.

 

Ordered redline hood struts today.

And my Kustom54 HID retros come in today! (i dunno what this emoji is for, but I feel its a good time to use it)

Nice! Yeah I'd eventually like to have a hard case like that, but since I'm living in Seattle, I think it would make it a bigger target for all the strung out/homeless people to tamper with. Do you keep recovery gear in yours?

 

Stock, not sure of its specifications.

Simple green (50/50 diluted with water)

After its properly cleaned and dried I use a very thin layer of 303 protectant to make it look new & keep the plastics/rubber pieces in good condition.

 

Actually nothing special yet! The usual 265/75-- stock height with spacers that bring the offset to -23 because I went a little ahead of myself

How much were the struts? And is it a bolt on deal?

 

Got it ready for Memorial Weekend I haveta get new clamps, it's on w/ Zip Ties now, just to see how it'd look. Came up w/ this idea using my Bed Stiffeners from @At The Helm

 

I'd be careful that doesn't torque the top of the bed stiffener and twist it all up or rip apart.
