Agreed but marketing has moved to IG and IG stories are the fastest way to spread what’s going on to customers. Without dedicating time to a full post.

You’re either on the train, or left at the station.

Also the tundra build looks good but barely goes over the cab. On a crew max I would want more over the cab, looked small.

Completely agree. As far as I can tell from pictures I can see they've only produced three or four GFCs.

I believe they should be up to around 20s, I knew a couple of weeks ago they were at 15 of them.

Hey TW crew. Sounds like there are 15+ but not everyone has picked up or been delivered! Ours is complete, but we are taking delivery of it on the 26th.

yeah im surprised they didn't make it a bit bigger too. The added width no doubt would be nice. Might as well make it a bit longer then you could have a sleep platform similar to the drifter or whatever.

Same could happen for the 6' bed tacos. The extended cab one they just did looked pretty similar. Looked great really.

Wish they had one on a 1st gen!

A bit frustrating but I see both sides of the coin here. They're gearing up for expo, and they'll sell way more xl and 2nd gen units compared to 1st gen. So makes sense that those are what they want down there to show off.

But, being told mine should be done the first couple weeks of May, and just a chance it goes out after the expo, with no other updates while a different unit gets prototyped for the expo is a bit disheartening. :pout:

Also, I didn't see the email blasts with updates the last couple weeks. :notsure:

yeah I agree. I totally get it as the market for 1st gen stuff is practically dead these days. Why people like Eric and Jerry don't bother stocking 1st gen stuff hardly anymore.

    Still a bummer though.

Wonder how many actual 1st gen orders they even have..

I am in the 20s in the build order and am waiting for color choices and final options.

Sounds like it could be soon. I’ll probably do white glove which might take a little longer, but it sounds like here are a few orders in my area.

I haven't ordered. Brett is like 18 i think though. I know of several 1st gen folks though on the fence just waiting to see what it'll look like and how it'll mount. We have a very different bed than 2nd/3rd gens with no track system and honestly kind of flimsy sheet metal that will require drilling or a custom extrusion for a clamp setup to use their current bolt downs.

They did say they would support it so that is great!

I'm in the que for the XL.
Perhaps they didn't make it longer because it would have required a larger change in the original design. Length as well as width would have required that the roof be extended and perhaps other changes like beefier struts, different measurements for the canvas tent, etc. They want to get mass production going. I suspect there will be a Gen II XL.
I'd wait around for the Gen II but I want to get camping.

I hope by the time mine is in order to be built they have the option to have the XL but on the tacomas, i would pay more for some more room.
