OK buy, just not a bargain. I'd rather spend more and get some goody from mount & balance cost. They probably shake like a bowling ball in a blender....uneven wear usually indicates lack of rotation and/or bad alignment.

Pictures 3 and 4, slightly 5, look like they were used on the rear and many attempted burnouts.
That price is perfect for my tight ass! Hehe, giggity. Even with a drive to Cincy.

But if they're out of round and cupped, idk. How many did this person claim were in bad shape again?

Looks like spinning on rocks to me....I looked at a set a while back where seller had worn 'em like that, cut down one, bought 2 new and put them on front.. kept one spare, trashed cut tire......then started getting bad vibes from the other 2 old ones. Looked to sell set. (KM2's coincidentally)

Mud tires wear quick and get massively out of balance all at once. If they aren't babied along the way they start getting noisy and shaky by 1/2 way point. I've seen tons of decent looking bigger mudders that were garbage. OK for a dedicated trail rig that never sees highway speeds, but dangerous and destructive to truck once they do get ran up to speed.

This is why I usually sell my mud tires long BEFORE they have a chance to start getting uneven wear. Just less hassle and the truck drives better/last's longer. Rotate often, keep aligned, balance often, maintain front end components and replace tires when you can.

He said 2 were cupped & pretty noisy. He said to just message him through Facebook for anyone interested in the tires. The tires are located in Fayetteville, OH but he works in Hyde Park & can bring them there. Here is his Facebook profile. He also just said he will take $150 tomorrow for the set because his kid graduates Friday & he could use the cash.

You think they're a good buy or no? Sure, they're better than the nothing that I have now. But for how long?

edit: They're also 285 on my baby 4 banger

    There is an option here.

I have 285's on my baby 4banger too, by the way.

however, there are places that will shave your tires to get them trued up and back to round. Depending upon how much material is left, and how much needs to be removed will be key.

Dad is a truck driver and has his trued all the time.

    Oh wait....these a
Never heard of that service in my neck o the woods. Might be something I'd need to get done should I get these, seeing that Cincy is a larger metro and may offer that.

285 mud tars are HEAVY! Especially these km2s, just gonna kill my gas tank driving to meats

Its very common in the commercial trucking industry. Call aroind to some truck stops in the area and see if they know of anyone.

I'll add this; I'd like to see them in person. Pictures can make things appear different. May be better. May be worse.

Oh, no. She runs just fine. I had some vibration but those are gone.

Been driving it for a few days now. Need to detail/shampoo the interior, and send to body shop for cancer removal. New bumpers, headlights, windshield and possibly rebuild the front end.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    Just a thought,,
I would think the blender would shake more than the bowling ball.

Good food and a pretty good selection of craft beers if you're into that sort of thing. Just passing through or there for a reason?
