I imagine a few years from now, there's going to be many 3rd gens on the road with 15lbs of air in their spare when they actually need it. It only takes a second to fill it up when it's flipped. Too many people just won't deal with it if it's not accessible.

Not 14 but I still think like I am. Being mature is another word for boring. Life is too short to not party.

I don’t think he meant he was acting immature with the thread itself, but moreso desperate for attention by spamming his thread everywhere.

Nothing funnier than a fart, except for kids falling off bikes, I can watch kids fall off bikes all day, I don’t give a shit about your kid.

Check out the bait bike, bait scooter, and bait purse videos on youtube. They're hilarious.

Oh yeah- when my then-GF took me to meet her fam, her parents showed me an old hom video where she fell off her bike. I laughed so hard I cried. It didn’t go over well. Thankfully we’re 12 years happily married now. She’s only ridden a bicycle once in that time period.

That’s like my wife, she decided to ride my bike after not riding a bike for 20 yrs. So she gets on the bike and starts down the driveway to the road, a car is coming so she applies the hand brakes, but never puts down her foot when the bike stops and starts to lean. She fell over with not even moving a muscle. It looked just like a cartoon. I had to turn my head and fake like I was coughing, but I was in tears laughing for a few seconds.

I honestly have no clue what two you are putting together. Maybe I am worse at math than I thought? :burp:

If you guys think a stick cant get kicked up by your tires and wedge itself to snap the stem off that is fine, I think differently. I sometimes wheel on logging roads that are littered with sticks and crap. Just last weekend I stopped and removed a 5 foot long stick wedged into my rock slider like a spear.

    :annoyed:

As you can see my full size spare (255/80/17) is flush with my hitch, I just see it as a weak point that can be avoided by having it face up. The way it came from the factory for my truck.

Some proof to backup my bad math skills. :cookiemonster:

Sounds the replacing mattress after 8 years to me. To me a spare is just to get me to tire shop for a matching replacement.

Probably wouldn’t do too good of a job if it was dry rotted to hell and your spare went flat as well.

Here’s an original spare that was 12 years old.

Guess what? I lost the damn hex piece that goes into the lowering unit... I don't see how a socket will go in... Am I missing something here?

I appreciate your responding 3 years later.

A ratchet with an extension will fit in there fine. I think it's a 3/8". Not the socket, but the square end of the extension.

Also the OP claims a socket actually fits over the whole mechanism. I don't know, I still have the factory tool.

If I think about it later, I'll get my deep dish sockets out of the tool box in the truck to see what size.

I had a flat in a bad storm in a tight spot under a bridge... Lost the tool then I guess. Now I'm putting spare back under truck. I had it in the bed. Its not a square male end, its a curved hexagon.

Apparently I forgot. I dropped my spare to change rear diff fluid a couple months ago. I checked the pressure and put it back in place.

No worries. Just changed diff fluid to RP 75-90. Did breather mod relocate behind L tail lamp. Turn out great. Thanks Pigpen for your help. Gotta love TW. I guess I will just throw spare back in bed until I feel like getting robbed at zee stealership.
