    Yeah, i can't decide. Not going thursday. Might still go friday-sunday. Really wanted to explore the area to scope out kid friendly fishing spots.

    If you're coming from Memphis you could stop in Crossville for the Caney Fork. Campgrounds everywhere and it's an easy kayak float

    it’s not in crossville. The caney confluences with the Cumberland in Carthage. You could seen it when you crossed the bridge coming to my
    House. It’s a very productive trout fishery.

    @totmacher yoi should absolutely hit the caney sometime. It’s awesome. Water temp stays right at 50* all year. Go during the week. It’s crawling with kayak and fly fishing yuppies from all over on the weekend. Let me know when you go. I’ll give you some info.

    Looks like i'll go family fishing, not wheeling, this weekend. Tempted to just get room, not camp too. Are the cabins at Edgar Evans nice?

    @rngr
    I found coupon code from state park service so got a cabin for the weekend.
    Any good easy spots for kids to fish from shore on the caney fork?

    Happy hollow or betty’s Island access would be easy. However, like I said, it gets pretty crowded on the weekend.

    About that 90% chance of thunderstorm they had forecast. LOL.
