Anyone running these wheels yet?

I really like these and I'm sure the awesome concave is due to the -44 offset but would these look weird on a 15 with a 3' lift? I'm considering bronze since my truck is white. I'm sure theres
some good wheel gurus here. Thanks.

Are you aware that that's a real beadlock? They're a lot of maintenance because you have to regularly check that all the bolts are torqued down.

 

So you don't recommend them for the street?

 

No, not unless you’re serious into off-roading. That’s where the benefit lies. If you want the looks of a headlock without the actual maintenance or cost of them, there are plenty of faux beadlock wheels on the market.

Buy whatever the hell you want, it don't matter if your on the road or off. If you like them wheels, which I personally think are badass and wouldn't hesitate to buy them bead lock or not, I would buy them and enjoy them

 

And as for the bolts, that's horse shit, put some blue locktite on them and torque them down to whatever it says to , and run em wherever the hell you want. What maintenance could you possibly have unless your rubbing the damn rings off on boulders. Buy what you want , and send me some pictures when you get them on because they will look awesome on a white truck

 

Sure, if you really want to take your wheels off every couple thousand miles so you can retorque all the bolts holding them together. Or if you want to pay for 4+ hours of labor every time you have to remove a tire. And if you want to take a massive fuel mileage hit because bead lock wheels usually weigh a ton. Oh, and they can be a pain in the ass to balance. Also, they're kinda useless unless you're running at least 35s.

You should probably know what you're talking about before making generic comments.

Beadlocks are also technically illegal for road use in most places. But it's doubtful you'd get a ticket for it unless you live somewhere like California.

@ccal is straight up giving you bad advice. The bolts on a beadlock are what literally hold the tire on the wheel. If they come loose, your tire will come off. This is why it's important to constantly recheck the torque on them so you don't have any failures.

Make sure and check if they are DOT approved. If the wheels are not DOT approved then they are illegal for on road use. I know plenty of people run beadlocks approved or not on the street. Just an FYI that you may run into inspection and or law enforcement dilemmas running a non approved wheel. Right now Rock Monster Wheels are one of the few true beadlocks that are approved for on road use. Another tidbit most major tire shops such as Discount, Firestone, NTB ect.... will not mount or balance beadlock wheels due to safety issues.
