You have to go with what is available.
I had a maternal grandfather, a few generations back (7), who fought there and Kings Mountain during the Revolution.

I have just been driving through some torrential rain the last few days and have had no leaks. I have been impressed with how dry the topper keeps the bed.

I've noticed no water intrusion on mine. I never coated it with the sealer.

What do you guys do with your rear when the top is folded down and in the storage bag?

I ended up taking mine out and just putting it back into the plastic clips at the back by the tailgate. I don't like the idea of not having it with me because I may want to put the top back up.

The rear flap with the window and the bar? Roll it up in the top. That's how they show it in the manual. Unbutton the sides and flip them up so they are laying across the top, then do the same with the rear panel and bar. Fold it down and it should all kinda roll up together.

Yeah I had tried that first. It goes up top and folds up just fine, but as soon as I tried to put it in the bag it would stick out the end. It's like 3 or 4" too long to fit in the bag. It was super close, but it didn't look quite right with the way it was sticking out.

For those that own the softtopper I was wondering if having the front accessory rail installed on the truck would interfere with installing the snaps for the front of the topper?

It does interfere with installing accessories to it. You have to remove your accessories to make the snaps work

Here is what I have done with mine. I added the front accessory rail, and also added the @At The Helm Front Rail Tie Down/Wheel Chock System. What I have done in the interim before I decide on how I want to fasten the flap id put a couple of bungee cords across the top of of the tie down, and that is holding the flap in place for now.

I am probably going to add the velcro to the header rail (right below where my hand is in the first pic, and that would still allow the use of the tie down/wheel chock system) and attach the flap that way. I will try and remember to get a pic of how I have the bungee cords used for now when I get home from work.
