People who don't mind their own business...

My dad and I went to the Carlisle Truck Nationals in August 2014, and we ended up paying five bucks or so to park at a school next door to the fairgrounds where the show is held. On the way into the makeshift spectator lot, we had all the windows in my dad's Pilot rolled down and we were chatting. My dad had to make a slight right turn, but we were barely moving and anybody with a half a brain could tell we were turning...

So, my dad and I were just talking about whatever, and all of a sudden were someone yell "Turn signal!"

    We initially blew it off...

    Again, "Turn signal!"

I look in the sideview mirror and realize some guy in a vest is actually yelling at my dad to use his blinker, and I was rather annoyed at him for interrupting a father/son moment. I don't know if he was a cop or a firefighter, or just volunteer, but one thing for sure is that he was annoying the shit out of me. I didn't say anything, and he probably said "turn signal" three or four times before my dad realized what was going on and flipped on his right blinker. My dad agreed with me that the guy was annoying, but that he was probably a cop (I didn't see a badge or a gun)...

Did Navy Jumper just list "apples and oranges" as a pet peeve?

    That seems a little extreme.:redxfall:

People that camp in the left lane. I hate you with every fiber of my being. Don't care if I'm trying to pass, or just GOING FASTER THAN YOU, you continue to camp in the left lane doing the speed limit or slower. And I give you the courtesy quick high beam flash as I don't tailgate you, letting you know hey maybe you didn't see me behind you, please let me pass... and you break out the marshmallows and gram crackers cause you camping. So I flick my high beams on for longer, long enough that yeah, you know I'm here and would like to pass. But why would you move over? Your camp site is perfect! So I turn on my LED light bar that turns the inside of your POS car into the surface of the sun, HEY! let me pass! And you simply push your sunglasses higher up your fat nose and try to pretend you still can't see me behind you. So I give up and move right a lane to pass, and you take that fat sweaty blotchy stump you call a foot and push the gas petal harder and try and speed up as soon as I pull out. I hate you.

I have nothing against motorcycles whatsoever but why must they wave to each other EVERY time they pass one another?

Also, most 4-door Wranglers have slushboxes! If I'm buying a Jeep, I want the millennial anti-theft device known as a manual transmission!

Though in a fender bender between Taco and Prius, I know from experience that Taco will come out on top...

Same with the carpool lane - I don’t care if you have a car full of other drivers, if you can’t go 15mph over the posted speed limit, stay out of it!

So yesterday I come to a 4 way stop and there are cars lined up on both sides and oncoming side as well. I stop at the sign just as the oncoming car is passing straight through the intersection. The cars stopped on either side are already stopped and have no blinkers on. Once the car in the intersection clears it, I expect the cars on either side to enter the intersection but neither of them move. WTF is wrong with people? They both just sat there for like 5 seconds before I started flashing my lights and waving my arms for them to go. Then the woman on my right, as she is passing in front of me, starts yelling something out the window and flailing her arms about. I couldn't hear her but I'm sure she thought I was in the wrong or whatever. If I had gone first and gotten hit by one of them, I would have been at fault. People need to learn the traffic laws. F**king morons. Drives me insane.

Personally, I'm sad my 2nd gen doesn't have the flip up center console like my 1st gen did for...reasons...:anonymous:

I'll add one. It is LITERALLY a pet peeve. I hate it when "Snuffles/Snowball" the lap dog is peering out the driver's side window. I can't imagine that being not super distracting.

A little of this and a little of that.
The ability to maintain your lane when turning at an intersection with multiple turn lanes. Stay the F out of my lane, you’ve got your own!
