Love my plano case too. Mine has wheels so even if you put two rifles in there it is easy to move. Love the organized look too!!!

I didn't read the whole thread, but can someone explain to me or link me to info: How does a folding stock/buffer tube work on a AR style pistol/sbr?

It works by adding an extension that captures the buffer in that part that hinges, I don’t know if the BCG needs an extension to keep from having bolt slap though.

Other than Bravo Company are there any other companies making an 8" free float handguard? It's kinda an odd size, but I need it to finalize my AR9 build because I'm all about the details.

Just don't discharge the weapon with the stock in the folded position. That would be a trip.

Well you can do it, once....
But yes, I forgot to mention that unless you have a proprietary system (I believe sig has one) you are not to fire an AR with the stock folded when fitted with an adapter, good catch.

That's always been my greatest fear with one of these systems. That and it opens up the action and lubricant to dirt.

I put my Geissele g2s installed yesterday. It has a bit of takeup but the 2nd stage is super light. I'm very excited to try it out!

Unless you go with the Deadfoot Arms MCS folder. Fires/cycles when folded, and doesn't open the action to outside elements. Lots of proprietary parts, though.

I like this a lot. Super clean. What's the barrel length? 7"?

It's a clean little rig, just sold it.
In the second photo, that is a 7.5" barrel with a 7" handguard. I had to replace it with an 8" barrel (shown in the first photo) in order for the suppressor to clear the rail.
