Yeah, I think they're still working out the bugs for the final release. My son bought one on the Kick Starter and has had a Beta Release that Tepui is going to replace once they're in full production.

A buddy of mine wanted to take his new 4Runner out on some trails, so we made plans to go camping up in Idaho where we're from. Last minute he decided that he didn't want to sleep in the back of his Runner, but rather sleep in the tent with me. So in case anyone is wondering, the @Cascadia Tents Mt. Shasta is the perfect size for two grown men to sleep comfortably and avoid any spooning or other experiences that should "never leave the tent." :anonymous:

And thus it begins....a bit of airing out before a trip to Overland Expo West. No mildew. No weird smells. A lot of surprised looks from the neighbors. I love these goddamn things.

Hey guy's I need some advice on rain and storage. I have a trip coming this weekend and rain is in the forecast for the next 3 or 4 days. I have no problem camping in the rain but I'm worried that it will be a few days before I can dry and air it out after getting back. I don't have a place to open it indoors so I would have to wait for the rain to go away. With it stored away wet for a day or so do I need to worry about mold and trashing my tent?

    Thanks in advance.

Just it sitting for a few days no. But as soon as the rain is gone go ahead and open it up for a few days or open it up multiple days to dry/air out and you should be fine.

What is the best way to remove mold already on a tent? Any recommended product?

    Edit to fix stupid autocorrect.

What model tent do you have? I enjoy surf fishing and want to try camping at Cape Lookout.

None yet, I'm having a rack built for over my ST so that I can haul one around.

Did Portsmouth Island last June. Really glad to have gone, figured out beach camping isn't my thing.

The constant sound from the waves was too much for me. The constant sun was too much. The full moon, no cloud cover was too much.

280 miles on dirt. came fairly close to the canadian border...the toyota ran great! more than the jeep can say...transmission fluid leak and overheating issues due to a bad thermostat...(removed thermostat...ran cool:)) 10 ply tires are a must. (due to slate rds that get grated) road conditions were....treacherous. Huge washouts (spring conditions). either slick with the rain or so dusty we ran half miles apart.
