4x Innovation is the only company that I'm aware of that states that their hitch receivers are rated.

Don’t they just take an existing rated hitch, and chop it up and integrate it into their bumper?

What time are you heading there? I'm interested but still have no recovery gear. How difficult is the trail for a NOOB?

If so, wouldn't that unrate it? Since its modified from its original design?

I've never been before but heard it's very tame. I'm leaving at 0700 on Saturday morning.

No idea, but @TacoCat's thought makes sense. I assume that they went through the process of having their design tested and rated, but I've never talked to them. I would think that if they're advertising their hitches as rated when they really aren't then they would be opening themselves up to all kinds of shit if anything ever happened while someone was towing with it.

Yeah what he said! It’s very easy. Most are just fire roads. You’ll be just fine in a stock truck.

Yeah that’s a good point. This is from their website, so they definitely make it sound like it’s been tested and cleared. I’m going to email them and ask.

Green ridge is easy with no need for gear unless it gets muddy then maybe a tow strap and that's a hard maybe! Well unless you are popping stock tires and deflating your good ones like @Superman910 and @chiefcrunchy lmao!

If my one meeting with Adam was any indication, I think he is more than willing, on both accounts.

Speaking of, anyone doing anything tonight? I know it's a work week and all but I'm off and getting bored…
