Just looked at my drivers side door sill... I’ve apparently already blown through the paint from getting out of the truck with boots on. I knew Toyota paint was thin, but sheesh.

 

My wife dailies the truck and wore that off in the first few months with her short Corgi legs.

She’s approved sliders when we have the money, but she doesn’t know how little that will help her situation

 

I use my sliders as steps a lot when getting out which keeps me of the door frame. also keeps me from rubbing my leg down the slider.

 

Same on that, good steps. Better than my OEM tube steps ever were

I had the truck for over a year before getting sliders, unlike my second gen. Should have gotten door sill protectors from the get go. Oh well.

@SuperBad Weren’t you looking at 3rd body mount relocate kits? Everything I’m finding is 2nd gen and might work, but is untested.

No I talked a little at some point about the 2nd gen ones but I haven't looked for my truck.

I have cmc plates, if anyone wants to buy. I bought them and then sold my wheels and tires instead of doing cmc. $15 during the meet should do it.

I also have a l2ci that I was too slow returning to Amazon after I didn’t use it. $40 for that if anyone wants it.

 

Its pretty awesome so far, def a lot of work on the plate, i havent been fully onboarded but i own a couple projects and helping clear a 700 ticket queue.
