Idk what you mean. I was not speaking of my truck. I was clarifying what ‘cost’ means. For the person who asked.

I paid $800 above cost (dealer invoice) for my truck. Which I believe was a good deal. :notsure:

Dealer cost isn’t the bottom line on what a dealer makes. Dealers can and will sell vehicles below dealer cost in the right situations.

My bad, I thought you were saying that you bought your truck at $1000 below what the dealer paid yota for it. Cost/invoice isn't even really what a dealer gets the truck for although they'd like us to believe that.

Also, once you get done negotiating price, don't forget negotiate warranty and service. I got 100,000 miles unlimited term bumper to bumper, but I should have pushed for the additional maintenance for free through more than the standard 25k, I believe 30K is a big one, try to get a few more for free. I'd ask for 50K service at no additional cost and see what happens.

    Happy hunting.

How are y’alls cement holding up to scratches? Does the flat color make scratches extremely noticeable?

I don't *think* I have a lot of scratches (I only have like 500 miles) but my observation is that the Cement is almost a pearl color up close. It's like "Pearl Gray". My Premium White Pearl RSX-S hid swirls and scratches incredibly! I think Cement will actually do the same.

I've not seen any scratches or swirls on mine. This color stays amazingly clean. I know it's dusty and dirty because if I run my finger across it it shows, but just looking at it you'd think it just came from a car wash. Dirt and imperfections are much more visible on the lighter grays and darker colors. Quick Sand is another color that hides a bit of dirt pretty well. My wife's Avalon in Magnetic Gray Metallic shows every spec.

My '15 was black, it showed every speck of dust, every little swirl. Pain in the ass to keep looking good. Cement always seems to look decent even with a coat of pollen dust. I don't think it will show the swirls and fine scratches too badly either. Gotta be easier than black to care for.

I love the pearl, and how the character of the color changes in different lighting. Fantastic color.

How do you like the Yakima RTT? I can get one 30% off but the reviews are not the best online so I am hesitant.

From what I have seen the bad reviews come from the smaller version. I have the medium version and I love it. It’s very well built and lightweight. I’ve only been able to use it once so far and in good weather. I’ll be using it this weekend and rain is in the forecast so we’ll see how it holds up, but so far so good.

    Not much stock left.
She’s almost complete. I have temp wheels on until the SCS slow boat arrives and I’m lucky enough to get a set.
