looking to see input. Trifold or regular. Looking for an inexpensive cover for the bed. My concern with the trifold is not being able to get to the back of the bed without taking the cover off.

Define "regular" because trifold is basically regular

A really big problem with roll ups like that is the velco. The velcro will get covered in crud and it will fall apart. Just like all other velcro. There's also no support in the center of the cover so if any weight gets on it, it can rip. Just my 2 cents. I prefer trifolds

The biggest problem with fold ups is leakage. Yeah yeah, I know they all leak, but the joints are just another place for this to happen.

If you're worried about no access to the front of the bed, maybe look at a Diamond Back. Pricey but a really solid cover. I'm going to put an Undercover Elite on mine when I get some funds together. Access to the entire bed takes just a few minutes by removing the one piece cover.

I've had my trifold for years and not a single leak in the bed. Even took it through the auto car wash a couple times because I was too lazy to wash my truck. Held up pretty well

Trifold for sure. I've had both. The big flat cover piece on my last truck and trifold on this one. Way easier to get off and easier to fold up and make room in the bed without removing it

Trifold...but a good one isn't cheap. I've had the Undercover Flex for a little over 2 years. Very solid, acceptably leak free, easy access to the whole bed.

I had a retractable cover then a camper on my 2nd gen. Opted for this cheap tyger trifold from Amazon this time. Only had it for a couple days so I can’t comment on leakage but I mainly got it just to keep items out of the direct rain. Quality is very good considering It’s only $229. 74D618C3-2733-40AE-8329-E2F15E88C67A_e66b0beb35560790ba938e4acb481e33e8c112f9.jpg

I have a trifold that I got from Gator and I've had it for a year and a half and I like it. Haven't really had any issues with leaks and got it for around $230 at the time with free shipping. It's easy to remove and put back on if I need full access to the bed. Here's the link to their site in case you're interested: https://gatorcovers.com/

I got an American tonneua tonneua cover, pretty good quality and it's been through some big snow storm and a couple car washes

Glad you've had good luck with your cover. Anecdotal, but seems to me more people complain about leakage than say they never get a drop. Even the covers with no seams and overlap fit on the bed rail (DiamondBack et al) will leak if you don't seal up the gaps at the tailgate.

I purchased the same cover as you because of the quality, price and reasons. It's been through a couple heavy rains in Texas and it holds pretty good. Great product for the price.

Very first think I bought for the Blue Taco was the Backflip. I think that is what I missed most about my FX4.

Count me as another satisfied user of the Tyger trifold. The bed stays amazingly dry even in the Seattle rains.

I got the gator tri-fold tonneau cover as well, keeps stuff dry and was inexpensive. I've had it probably half a year now so only time will tell for long term durability.

I have a Rugged Tri Fold Hard Tonneau and it does a decent job keeping water out but it does get in. I wasn't expecting it to be watertight. I use it mostly for security and to keep my items dry when it rains or when I wash my truck.

Here are some pics after a recent drive in a hard rain in Atlanta.

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
Ditto here with this cover, factory optioned through Southeast Toyota. By the way, from your first pic, you may want to realign/center your cover, looks like at the tailgate it overhangs your bed rail on the right side a bit so it must be off quite a bit on the left side. Mine was off by a bit, and it's very easy to correct.
