@RelentlessFab bed rack installed and I love it. So pumped to not have the tent on the cab next trip. Also had a little forklift fun and figured out I need bigger bump stops or change my axle mount and to get my wheel spacers on. 25” off the ground so I can’t complain!

Nice. Is that with the Dakars or did you replace them?

On the home stretch now. But have to head out of town for work for a few days.

    Still need to:
    1) check and torque everything
    2) bleed the brakes
    3) top off the front diff
    4) probably adjust preload
    5) weld on the resi mounts

It’s been a fucking process but it’s fun. Learning lots and I’m super thankful for everyone’s help.

    That blue though :bananadance:

I wonder why King has been sending out LT sets with wrong lower spring perches. This is the second one I've seen.

I ordered mine recently, so hopefully I don't have this dilemma.

Yeah I’m not really sure how that can happen. But it’s hopefully a simple fix, downtime just sucks.

    Good luck!

As far as brake lines, what length are you running?

My kit came with brake lines included and I believe they are 13.5”. I’d recommend doing the brake lines before you pull everything apart so that whatever brake fluid you lose goes all over old parts instead of new parts :anonymous:

Got back into town last night and had a package from Downsouth with the correct spring seats/perches/whatever you want to call them. Also went to dump my old gear oil and noticed I forgot to replace the washer like an idiot in my mad rush to get the truck back onto the ground. Luckily I have plenty of gear oil and Brandon at Dolan parts hooked me up with some spares last time I was in so that’ll be an easy fix but a waste of $40 in gear oil :annoyed: I jacked the truck up this morning and packed off the preload all the way to the top of the coilover but the spring was still tight so I went and rented a little Autozone spring compressor. I was able to barely fit it in between the springs but I got it to compress enough to swap lower seats. There is a huge size difference. Left is the LT seat and right is the OEM/MT seat. Huge thanks to @RelentlessFab for pointing it out and taking pictures of @Project Recon ’s truck at 9 PM to confirm they were wrong. And for stopping by on Saturday to say what’s up and give some pointers
