For sure, but I was under the impression that the GFC that fits 2nd/3rd gens would have an excessive gap on a 1st gen due to difference in cab heights.

She likes the look of the front (no underbite). Later 3rd gens, or 4th/5th? And details?

I believe. Every leather interior 4Runner I’ve seen have always had ruined and cracked upholstery though.

I'll be sure to post plenty of pics.

That being said, I just wrapped up a 10 day, 2,700 mile trip in which I would have loved to have my camper, and don't have anything planned for a while. Also, everything close to me is still snowed in. I'm sure I'll be anxious to get out for the first couple weekends so I'll take some small trips and gets some pics.

There's all sorts of different dimensions, so they're building a whole new frame. Guessing the gap won't be a problem. Issue with the 2nd gens being they were measuring the gap needed for flex off the shark fin, which is a couple inches over the roof, we won't have that issue.

Yeah but bumper choice issues for those years because of that.

Think 00-02 have the multi mode tcase as an option. Still a 3rd gen. 4Runners always got the new stuff first.

But really I'd get a 4th or 5th gen personally. Be more roomy and more comfortable.

Ahh aem meth kit. Though you just went for an fic6. Cool

You don't want an 00-02 their VSC and Trac is primitive and a PITA when it inevitably fucks up.

Also yeah pretty pumped about the meth kit, just not a whole lot of room to install the tank so I gotta find a good spot maybe in the cab somewheres.

Yeah, well 5th would be nice, but pricey. 4th feels bloated to her, probably because she's used to the Taco.

I have my compressors there, the AEM bottle is nice too because of the capacity and level sensor. Plus it has a safety against starving. But I do have a spare one of those tanks kicking around. Thinking maybe using the stock tank for meth and a smaller easier to place one for the washers. But again the AEM tank is really nice.

Your trucks becoming an alcoholic too? I tapped mine into the WW reservoir. Got the sensor that the kit came with and installed it like a third of the way up the tank so I can have an early warning when meth is running out.

Well safe to say there was nothing left on that 4Runner... can’t believe how fast these get stripped.

Loved my 3rd gen. I think it's the perfect size. I think I agree with her on the 4th gen. It's my least favorite haha
