    Damn what a day!
1st. Ordered my SOS sliders (due early August),
2nd. Icon ext trav coilovers, ext trav rear shocks, cab chop plates, ext brake lines (all due next week)
3rd. Neighbor gave me (as in free) a good working riding mower.
And then I opened the mail to find this.

Somewhere I must have earned some good karma. I'm about to be in mod hyperdrive! May need to host a wrenching convention soon!

When my knee gets better, I am gonna start a YouTube channel called Tacoma WCF (Wheel Camp and Fish), all yall can all be my special guests on the episodes. Every episode will do a review of your rig, followed by some wheeling. The deal is, every time a person has to use anything beside good ole 4 wheel drive, they have to take a shot of an un-named clear liquid. Then we get to camp and have to set up camp and cook under the influences of said liquid. Subject matter will present itself I think.

It depends on the job......if cost is not a concern h125 B3e. Amazingly strong single engine aircraft. Now if cost is a concern but you still need to lift over heavy terrain..a Bolkow 105 LS-a3 superlifter will lift almost as much and has amazing twin engine performance. So much so that you can loose one engine with a load slung underneath and still make it to safety. Then there is always the good ole r44. That aircraft is very cheap to operate, under $200 an hour, but recent advancements in materials and component designs are bringing the operating cost of much larger helicopters down further and further. I think my favorite is the Bolkow BO-105. Over 1 million combined flight hours not one rotor failure ever.

Nah, I bet it flies like a dream though. Anything that big that will still do a back-flip is a mighty fine piece of machinery.

buddy of mine was an avionics tech on them......he told me it was a pointless job in flight as the thing had to be on the ground to fix anything........he usually manned a 50 cal in flight.

I flew a ch 47d a little once. I think billings flying service owned it. It was just a ride along for a few minutes. I remember putting that big ass bambi bucket in the drink and picking up on the collective thinking there is no way in hell....that dam instrument panel started shaking and the whole thing felt like it was gonna twist in half, but it lifted that bucket up outta there. Took over 93% torque to do it though.
