But you're my neighbor to the south! I won't be moving for at least a couple of more yrs. I've got to stay up in NC for another 13 yrs. Once the youngin is off to college it's out west for me!

 

Where, why, and better yet, why? The only place "out west" I would consider is maybe Colorado, but still doubtful...

 

Have to stay here for custody reasons with my kiddo. Where the short list is Texas, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico. Why, land and freedom.

 

We have the same will plan. Lol. My daughter is why I’m in Charlotte area. Once she’s out of high school we are moving to the southwest corner of Wyoming or or south of SLC.

 

Lived in the S.East of Wyoming for a yr. in Laramie. Not a huge fan of Wyoming weather. The North West up around Yellowstone and Jackson Hole is actually nicer weather. The southern part of the state is really harsh for winters because of the elevation and the way the mountains run especially in the E. I explored all over while I was out there and have taken quite a few road trips all over the west. Plus as long as the BLM land doesn't get closed there are tons of places to wheel, overland , camp, and shoot.

There’d be no shortage of guys to go wheel with. A lot of the guys active on the first gen thread are out thata way. Tacoma’s must last longer out west.

 

Who wants to meetup Saturday. Maybe URE. Just nothing to vigorous lol.

Everything lasts longer out there. I have seen 1940s trucks sitting in fields with minor surface rust. Very low to no humidity. They don't salt the rds. The dirt is a lot different than here. There is a reason car collectors look for Arizona cars as they are the most pristine.

I can't this weekend taking the scouts camping. I posted on the URE thread about the 27th but that is also memorial day weekend so it may be crowded.

 

That weekend we got the photoshoot for the runner. And a possible group pic of my buddy that did the install shows up.
