Well I just got back from camping and I used the outlet for airing up a large queen size air mattress with a built in air compressor/vacuum and a small blender (250w) for making breakfast smoothies. :bananadance: Thus far it is working well

It will, mine pulls 350w when burning the glow plug in the beginning but goes down to 50w to run the auger and fan once the fire is established.

So for our next camping trip I am thinking I will find an old low watt projector and plug it in for desert canyon movie night! Anyone out there tried a projector?

I think im gonna try to place a crock pot in the truck bed and cook food while driving. More likely use it to keep food warm while driving with the crock pot

Left a full head of hair in a park. Used a Wahl hair clipper in the outlet to leave 1/8" cut.

I use it on weekends for my electric cooler (stupid it has to go 12V-120V-12V...)

Now looking to put direct 12V in the bed to plug it without 1- the power brick and 2- needing to push the dash button, plus always on mode.

I wish it would stay on after the ignition/accy is turned off for a brief period of time, or it would remember it's last setting and turn back on after turning the engine off and back on.

This is legit! Curious as to how you wired everything... Do you have a write-up by chance?

No quality write up for this one. Just cut some holes and ran some wire.

I haven’t used mine yet. I just converted an old cooler into a livewell. I will be running a pump and an aerator. Unfortunately, I will be be converting back to 12v DC. I assume that will cost me a lot of power? Is there any good way to get power from the cigarette lighter to the bed. I wish there was a 12v outlet back there. I may used a portable power pack instead. Guess I will see what works.

i am still confused by the output. It’s always at least 100w? 400 in park and neutral? Does it matter if the motor is running.

    Thanks!

I dont think it has to be running, but you run the risk of draining your battery, theres a very simple mod on here that makes it 400w all the time, takes longer to remove your console than to do The mod.
