You ever find one? I ordered a 4" but it was too big. The snorkel is 3.5" but I can't find any that is that size.

I did find a 4", but that would need a reducer.

I'm wondering, with a snorkel specifically, when it's downpouring and you are driving at highway speeds, where does the water that goes into your inlet go?

yeah i've seen that several times before, i'm just amazed that all of the water sticks to the walls of the snorkel and out the outlets haha

 

@Wheelspinner @diabetiktaco @Nimble9 - something to consider when we do our install.

 

mines installed and I walked past that spectre tubing at advance auto and thought about doing what this guy did, buuuut I didn't feel like taking the snorkel off orrrrrr trying to cut it mounted.

If I could do it all over again I would have gone that route

 

any updates? or at least butt dyno results? lol

Yeah, I saw this the other day too. I remember when I opened the box it didn't look right to me. At least there's a fix.

 

Well did the install today and looks like I may be buying a new fender.

I guess I installed it too low ?

The oval part on the snorkel HITS the back side of the fender. That gap is massive, and the a pillar bracket doesn’t line up what so ever.

Any ideas on what’s going on? Bad mold ??

i wouldn’t worry about it, mine was the same

I never did drill to my pillar as I didn’t want to replace that later and it’s fine. As far as it not sitting flush I just used black caulk and pow it follows the truck lines perfectly.

I def trimmer that rubber piece down to make it fit and took a dremel to the engine bay to make a bigger hole since things weren’t lining up perfectly

 

Looks fine to me- don’t drill A pillar just use some strong 3m tape

 

Will the caulk fill a 3/8” gap ? I moved the snorkel up and it looks much better now. You can see the crappy cut at the front gap so caulking would really help,but the gap is about 3/8”
