Looks good. Now just leave this one alone! Except maybe swapping the motor for a higher turn model.

Think I'm going to get some paint and start working on the MK4 Supra body. Already ordered a decal set for it too.

Gotta run it before we change anything, for sure. Motor will most likely get swapped, and 27T seems too fast, in general. We’ll see how these traxxas tires do, but my assumption is they’re traxxas, so they’ll have to go. Wheels aren’t beadlock, so might have to upgrade those too. Shit, look how this turning out, lmao. Paint looks even better in the sun!!

Yes, it was there when I went home at lunch. Im gonna try to solder it in before the TX4WD meeting tonight. Might need to get a new Dean connector though if I can't desolder the one off the bad esc.

After messing around with the second ESC, I got it to work somewhat, but it seemed like a dead spot in the motor. I could turn the pinion gear and hit the throttle and at a certain spot, it ran like it should. I could keep feathering the throttle and it continued running until I let off. Once stopped and I hit the throttle, nothing... I messed around with it for a bit trying to figure it out, but suddenly it would not restart again. At some point, the lights stopped working on the second ESC. I'm giving up on the brushless experiment. Stock brushed motor and cheap ESC is back in the car. On another note, got some paint laid down last night.

Gotta let the shoe goo on the lights dry and clean up the wiring, but close to done with the new XV01 body. Also need to decide if I run the rear wing or not.

Dammit, I seem to have misplaced the radio for the rally car. I sure hope it didn't fall out of the truck at White Settlement. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Still couldn't find the remote so got a Flysky GT3C from Amazon delivered today.Put the new receiver in the car and we're back in business. I connected the cheap Chinese led kit on the Supra body, but apparently the instructions are wrong or its not built right. Turn right and the reverse lights blink go backwards and the brake lights come on. Left turn signal stays on all the time. I guess that's what I should expect for less than $10

I moved around some plugs and got the lights working correctly now. I think it looks great....and too good to race with. I cleaned up the wiring but need some extension cables for the lights.

Also, someone on FB is selling a TF2 that looks pretty sweet! Good for a shelf queen.

That things badass, but fuckkk a shelf queen!! Trynna go have some fun!! When’s the next crawl sesh. Made some changes on the Deadbolt, added a FCP skid and link relocation mounts. Really want to try and removed the glued tires from the plastic wheels and stretch the 1.9 tires onto my 2.2 methods. Attempted the hair dryer method to remove them last night, but didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. Hesitant to try the oven, because I don’t want to ruin the tires, but don’t want the VP wheels going to waste....

Don’t try to remove the tires from the wheels the only thing you will save are the wheels I did the oven method that was kind of pointless boiling them works better but you ruin your foams

Too late. Didn’t see this in time. I couldn’t resist the temptation. Tires are in the oven... one side peeled, waiting on second side. What ruined? They rip?

    2 done. No apparent damage.

oh nice. the foams were toast, but the hardened glue residue as stick on the tires, made it a pain in the ass to try and re glue

Yeah, wondered about the foams, but hoping the fact they’re being stretched around the 2.2 will adjust for any changes that may occur. Wasn’t concerned about regluing as they’re going on beadlocks. All tires are done, got one VP wheel drilled (hole for vent/drainage), and tire on. Need to disassemble the other 3 and get them drilled/stretched on. If all goes well, I will def be crawling somewhere later today, lol.
