Today is the LAST day of the kid's state testing! Now I am recovered and hungry so I am going to grab some IHOP while he takes his test. Should make for some interesting "eat shit" looks when he finds out later!

SCReady or PASS testing? We're going through both at the middle school I'm at right now.

 

We do SCReady and it is the ONLY test they take! (Yay!) When he is older, they do that and EOC? Or some kind of combo. I feel bad for traditional schools, neighbor's kid is ALWAYS testing in his

The good thing is, the teachers here do NOT put the fear in these kids on these tests. The virtual schools seem to have so many kids with test anxiety or other issues that it is a moot point to make them scared. They do the best they can and move on I have seen the neighbor kid cry from his which makes me wonder what these teachers tell them!

The shitty part is, I know ppl from when I was in school who aced these tests and are dumb as a box of rocks. Others who did awful and are smarter than shit. So IDK. I think the whole thing is stupid tbh.

Give a shout when you test it out. We got a monster truck for my oldest one year and he loved it except the battery died very fast. He would only get about 10 minutes of drive time for an hour of charge time.
