It's a solar mppt charger, DC to DC charger, alternator controller, battery desulfator, and 110v smart charger all rolled into.

That's why I was looking at the c-tek 250s dual. I could see myself holding out for the red arc product.

I just like that it displays "days till flat" at any given moment with the press of a button. It takes into account solar, load, amp hours of battery, and calculates the answer

Been using Redarc kit for awhile now. Favorite product is the Tow Pro Elite electric brake controller. Have their low coolant alarm as well but don’t think that it’s still available.

I just acquired an ARB 50qt fridge with transit bag. It's going to live in my bed, under my RTT but not covered by a cap, so outside. My question is, is how waterproof is the fridge?

I just talked to the arb rep at Jambo about this, he said "absolutely not built to sit in a truck bed, at all...it should never see rainwater". Those were his exact words. He said it was made for SUV use, or in a shell. Nothing inside the motor electronics area is protected at all, nor is the keypad waterproof. It's only water resistant in case something drips on it while going to or from fridge. So yeah, take that how you will.

I will be getting a fridge near mid summer, it will be the new stainless arb fridge. Designed to survive in a truck bed for 15 years. Water hose washable, Electronic lock, threaded bolt holes already in the bottom, low power draw, less than 2 amp per hr after set temp is reached. Quite expensive though at 1200.

What about a big action packer? Put vents in the side for air intake, paint it silver to reflect light. You couldn't use a fridge slide but honestly I would rather have the whole tailgate as a table anyway than have a fridge sticking over it when cooking

They make enclosures for fridge and battery managment electronics on pretty much every ute in Australia. Made out of folded aluminum

An aluminum enclosure is interesting. Siliconed joints.

I guess a second option would be to put in the cab, but id still need to send the wires to the bed, since thats where the dual battery is going

put it behind the driver seat with the opening latch towards the access door. granted you probably cant use those molle mounting in that area with that. but its great for getting cold drinks while on the road and keeps it away from elements. theres also a plug on the back of the cab you can use for the wires to the bed
