Oh yeah. You can. I read all about it on motorcycle forums. If it’s over 500cc you have to get a VIN verification, otherwise this method works for everything. Cars, boats, trailers, buses, even semi trailers.

There’s a check for $383.50 issued to the great State of Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles in the mail now.

Let’s see if I can get plates for this thing. Turnaround time is two weeks.

    God help me.

While it smells less like an abandoned and moldy library in Chernobyl, there is still a smell. I’m going to try covering all the electronics and steel, taking out the drain plugs in the floor pan, and pressure washing the inside. It’s dirty. Somehow the dirt went through the carpet.

    New carpet would probably help.

I got new carpet for it... or more correctly used carpet that I pressure washed from a 1999 PreRunner at the Travis AFB Pick-n-Pull.

It had some stains but it was 100x better than the carpet in the truck.

This. Completely erased the smoke smell left by the previous owner in my truck.

No joke, I did that to my dad's F-150 when I was about 9 years old. He told me to go wash his truck and I had never done it on my own before, I thought you were supposed to hose down the truck with the windows down so that everything could get wet and get cleaned. He was pissed...

Oh man this thing is beyond being detailed. The whole truck is getting bondo work and paint after stripping it to the metal. It's rough.

All the interior panels are getting redone too.

I just heard the sound of a leather belt being pulled through the belt loops quickly all the sudden. Lol

haha, fortunately I think I gave the whole thing a once over with the hose on 'mist' mode before he came running out to stop me, so it's not like the interior got soaked. No belt, fortunately for me this was in mid-90's SoCal where that sort of discipline wasn't common anymore. Both my parents grew up in the bible belt part of the midwest though, so I'm he sure he thought about it, lol.

Wonder what the cost for this would be. Have over 200k on my stock LCA. Need to change the bushings but maybe I should just go this route instead.
