I considered that too, but with vibration and weight the bolts will move back to the furthest point of the slot. Unless he can fill the slot with something after getting them square.

Forgot to say... sliders I have. First thing I bought, seemed a top priority. RCI’s. They came with pretty lame hardware but I bought better bolts and washers, and more of them... bolted the shyte out them.

Well that was fun. 4 fuckers planted, 5ft to 15ft tall. We'll see how it works out. I'll keep planting them and hopefully get to the strength in numbers plan.

Water them about every day the first week then keep at it. First season you’ll wanna keep on the watering all summer. Eventually they will colonize. Long term they can be a pain in a small yard but it sounds like you have room for them.

Not sure how much room you are covering but if you are mass planting a long property line and looking for a naturalized edge, screen, windbreak consider adding to the mix hackberry trees, Rocky Mountain juniper and/or Gambel Oak in groupings around the aspens.

Thanks for the info. I've heard they like water after transplant so I'll keep them watered.

I planted them with the shed as somewhat of a wind break, don't really want them there but that's my best chance i think. I've got 5 acres and would be fine with them taking over the back half (even though i know that won't happen anytime soon).

Are those trees/bushes you mentioned good for full sun/windy/10k elevation?

10k? Sorry I assumed you were down way lower. Sounds awesome though. They are all tough trees but I do not thnk they will work up that high. :anonymous:

Hey @mountainmonkey I don’t know how you feel about this but you can always add a turnbuckle to it. :notsure: Just an idea.....

Imo, winch is good. I didn't clock the link but should be able to get it for 500. Don't skimp and go with cable to save money. Spend another 200 on accessories if you don't already have them.. shackles, straps, snatch blocks, etc.

What do you have suspension wise now? If nothing get stock takeoffs to hold you over and go Kings or another good setup and you won't regret paying twice down the road.

in a city that already has a huge traffic problem, the city brain trust has decided to take away the 4 congested lanes of Mulberry Ave from the full stretch of City Park starting at Jackson Ave all the way to Overland Trail and stripe it for a center median, ONE East bound and ONE West bound and of course the ever popular bike lanes for those spandex speed bumps. Of course those assholes are behind this stupidity.

4 congested lanes reduced to 2 lanes. Fucking. Awesome.

I find it hilarious when people in fort collins complain about traffic or construction. Its all about perspective and this has nothing on Denver's fuck ups with traffic and construction
