Freaking thing is starting to make noise from its hvac box for the third or fourth time. People talking about ditching their turd gen for the new ranger are insane.

 

I'd rather have the Ranger over the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

My sister-in-law has a Chevy Colorado and after I drove it for a while I really wasn't that impressed with it.

 

She doesn't have the diesel version.

The line used to be the wrapper around the Cummins sucked.

My buddy who is willing to put up with crappy vehicles got rid of his non-diesel Colorado very quickly.

Of course other than my couple of Jetta TDIs, I can't think of an efficient car I want to spend time in.

Well, you are insane then.

The motor Ford is using had SERIOUS early production issues with hydrolocking on its own coolant. They supposedly fixed it with a better head gasket, but that sets the stage for you. A lot worse than a bad batch of CPS.

Like OK I get that Toyota kinda sharted themselves in public when it came to the 3rd gen launch. Dealers exacerbated the issue by being careless and stubborn to address consumer complaints.

I'm not dismissing the Ranger outright, I'm just sayin', if you think 1st year turd gen was a shitshow...

We should take this to the BS thread though and let people keep selling their shit.
